Mental Health & Awareness

By drawing on over 25 years’ experience working within the field of mental health, teaching, and training, as well as 15 years within the wind industry we are able to offer a programme which has been designed to specifically meet the needs of a workforce. A 4-hr teaching session will use established learning models to ensure the programme is accessible and personally relevant to all of those attending.

The programme offers participants an overview of the concept of mental health, from a comprehensive biopsychosocial perspective, and help them to recognise Indicators of stress and distress in themselves and others and learn strategies to promote positive emotional well-being and resilience. Written and designed with the goal of de stigmatising and normalising many of these issues in order to foster an open accepting workplace in which further support can be offered and accepted. 

The insight provided by the training, has the potential to reach far beyond the workplace and has been designed to intentionally spill over into both work and home life.

To promote optimal engagement, sessions are delivered to a maximum of 12 people. The course is appropriate to all personnel and will establish a foundation to implement other workplace strategies. Pre and post outcome measures will be conducted with all participants and the finding of this will be shared in the form of a summary report, which will be shared with the company in order to measure any impact the training may have had and also after additional insight into the needs of the workforce.
